PostSubject: Npcs Suggestion   Sun Mar 30, 2008 10:19 pm

I suggest that the game adds npcs it could be simple like when your in the forest and walk into a certain area you see a missing nin standing there like next to a tree and he just starts moving toward you and attacking you.


D Ranked Missing Shinobi
HP - 50
Punch - The D ranked missing shinobi has punched you doing 1 damage!
Kunai Slash - The D ranked missing shinobi has attacked you with his kunai doing 5 damage!

Effect - All it does is move toward you and do damage like kankuro's puppet and occasionally do some extra damage.


Yen and Exp for winning - 10 - You have defeated the missing nin he was carrying 10 yen!

Sounds like it, not that NUB hasnt already been called the Pokemon Naruto game, but Im not sure I like the idea so we'll play that one by ear xD

Kind of is when you think about it... with the random battles, and the people hiding in the ruby/sapphire (they are just examples, and the only version i know of that this happen in) version of pokemon.

For this idea to work (the way I see it) is that you would need to go into an arena, and that arena would basically have to 'pop up' so you can actually fight back against this missing nin.

I think it would just be better, if there were a few scattered missing nins already at arenas, and in order to fight them, you would have to 'insert' or rather pay them to fight you. (Like 100-200 yen or so per fight) That way people aren't just sitting there and winning over and over. Npcs do tend to have there limits, whereas AI has its advantages. I bet it would be hard to program it so they learn not to do this or that during a fight, sounds like to much coding for them to do the later, hince the suggestion about the yen. Also would require a lot less coding, at least I think. :S And 10 exp and yen does sound nice, sounds a lot better then fighting people whose rank make it so you only when 5 exp per fight.

Yes thats part of the beauty, keeps people interested in playing Human players, unless they are super rich.
